It owes its picturesque location to the panoramas around. To the west, there are the Czantoria and Stożek Range, and to the eat – the branching arm of Mt Równica and the Barania Góra Range. The centre of the city is located 430 metres above the sea level. In the recent years, best-known for the Polish ski jumping champion, Adam Małysz.
